Haha! I was actually taking a pic of the spider and noticed the jimmy in there looking like a sad puppy.
Pulled up and saw this spider the size of a chihuahua spinning a web that could catch a chicken and I couldn’t identify it. This was as close as my testicles would dare let me get to this thing to get the picture, so it’s still a mystery. But if any small pets go missing in the neighborhood I might have some explaining to do.

This year I made it easy and just said money. All the money is going to the finish the jimmy fund. You guys are welcome to pitch in on a Magnum if you’re needing ideas

I just finished getting my dash and all back together from a steering column exploration. Bolted the driver seat back in and just sat there for about 30 minutes. I forgot how good it feels. Everything is in the perfect position. Seat height, steering wheel distance, pedals, just perfect. I’m ready to get back to work.
I got 2 weeks off when the little one arrives so I’m planning to at least get the inside sprayed with Bedliner. I also got 2 weeks off for blazer bash so maybe I can make it!

Well I’ve still been fiddling around some. Made a new plate to mount the cable shifters to with a little different set up. I think it’s going to come out cleaner and with a little more clearance this way. Need to find some kind of edge trim to seal up the shifter hole.

Sure thing. I ordered some “sandable” epoxy and then I’m just gonna spray a base/clear over that. We’ll see how it does. I’m just looking for a 10 footer.
What paint gun?
Eastwood Concours LT. I picked it just because it is advertised to work well with a relatively low cfm. Saw decent reviews on it.
I tend to shy away from going the cheapest route on things but I definitely do not go all out on the top the line stuff. However, I do think the harbor freight (cheapest) guns perform pretty decent as well.

Hmm, just saw that. I may try to make that. Have to see how things are going at the house. Did we nail down our Southeast trip? April 5/6/7?
We should be good for April, just not sure if it'll be in the Blazer or Jeep.
I’ll most likely be in the Jeep, but at least progress is being made again in the Jimmy. I got a surprise coming
