What’s up with the Blazer? Wheeling in 2021?

Been trying to get my AC to act right. Still get belt squeal and my AC lines were leaking when I tried to get it charged. This summer I'm gonna work on shocks, bumpstops and hopefully a rear bumper. Getting a 20x20 shop built too so i'll have a little room to work.

A family that sweats together.... never mind, I'm told i have to fix mine this year.

The heat is always tough but air movement is the key, get that pesky roof and those doors out of the way.

Alrighty! I was able to get the AC charged so heat and AC is working. Which is perfect bc I am planning on driving it on a 500 mile round trip to AR next weekend. Everything seems to be in good working order. Just changed the oil for the first time since the build, except for the initial break-in. Put about 1000 miles on it and the oil looked good. No sparkles. Now I need to work on some tunes!!! And maybe shocks and bumpstops eventually, a rear bumper perhaps.

Plan to. Shocks and hydroassist are next. Been putting that off too long

In route to AR. Let's hope she keeps it together. Been driving her around alot lately and no issues have popped up. Can cruise nice and easy at 70 mph. Had it up to 80 something a few times and no crazy vibrations or anything. Gonna be a nice cruiser to the trails.

Made it in without a hitch. Got 10.6 mpg with a fairly heavy foot. Running 70+ the whole way.

Back in MS in one piece. The Jimmy got to cross 2 state lines and hit the interstate for the first time. Got tons of waves and looks. Took it a little easier on the gas on the way back, i'll check the mileage tomorrow. This thing is rides and drives better than my jeep and its definitely faster. It may be time to give it part time Daily Driver duties.
