My buddy is selling his extra diesel trucks .

01 Dodge 3500,4x4,Quad Cab,dually,Cummins/auto,SLT. Truck has 87K miles on it and is in ver nice shape. Never had a 5th wheel or gooseneck ball.

What's the benefit or drawback of rear disc or drum? I see the guy above asking in both your threads....why?

Are there any mods to this one?
Any accidents?
Dents, blemishes, or any rust?
Any major repairs done, or needed?
What was the truck used for by the PO?
How many PO's has it had?
Why are you selling?

I was just wondering about which rear brakes it had, thats all. Sometime during the 2001 model year, Dodge switched the rear brakes on their heavy duty pickups from drums to discs.

mid year 01 went to disc's. Some have drum.
