I have an 87 K5 tbi 350, and just installed a set of headers. Since the headers are longer than the stock manifolds, the 02 sensor wire is about 2 inches too short to screw into the bung on the collector. Does anybody know where to get a longer 02 sensor wire, or how to remedy this problem? Thanks.

Just cut the wire and splice in another length of wire that's the proper size. Make sure you do a nice job and solder the wire and use heat shrink afterwards.

good luck with that. O2 sensors use steel wire. Soldering the wires is a pain in the butt(done it before). Look to see how the wire is routed and if you can possibly route it another way. Either way you should put a 3 wire O2 sensor in instead of the stock 1 wire.

Don't know what 02 sensor you have but the one in my current rig is just normal copper stranded wire and the same with my other rig i had and also the same as my Thunderbird.
