'04 Tundra DD/CC/6" lift/35s/OBA.... [Tire carnage...]

x2 :waytogo:

and I thought you lived in a ~bad area? Or at least have neighbors who like to F with your Blazer. :dunno:

Yep.... But, the Tundra is insured out-the-a$$. :waytogo:

Plus, we're moving soon anyways.
I can't stand this fuggin' place.

I wanna live where people respect cars, not steal them. :waytogo:

powdercoat some steelies. Theres more than enough poser rims in California as it is

Not my truck, Not my say....

She wanted 20's, but I convinced her they looked funny.
Nevermind the fact that most are 20x10, and She needs a 9" (max) rim.

Steelies would look tiny, imo. :dunno:

Her current rims are 17's, she want's to go bigger.

Just spent a cubic butt-load on these: :D

35x12.5x18, Hankook Dynapro M/T's.

To wrap around these:

We've been running the Dynapro M/T's for over a year, and LOVE them.
They're a great sand/asphalt tire.
This truck never see's mud, so I wouldn't know about that.

Almost bought a set of those a while back.

Heard good.

Bet some siping would work wonders on them in the wet.

I love siping. Can't recommend it enough.

Having said that I need to do mine still...only had the tires for oh...3 months now.

Damn, custom drilled?

Is it bad that for a brief moment I could smell that "new tire rubber" smell?

I ran those Hankooks on my f350 for a while and on my trail rig in the 35" variety and they kick ass, they wear like iron and have a good bite to them on the trail. I plan on getting a set of the 235/85/16 for my dually once I finish the 4x4 conversion but 6 tires at 187/ ea adds up quick....

Yep.... They sure do kick ass.
We've been running the 30" version for 2 years, now.
Haven't let me down once. :waytogo:

But, boy, are they gawdawful expensive. :doah:

Joe, at Central 4wd, just called.
The rims should be in some time today.

I guess that put's the Tundra in the shop tomoro.
I can't wait to drive the truck all lifted! :woot:

Nice. Watch that multipiece subframe though. They like to rattle loose and shift around.

I had a couple IFS-Chevy guys tell me that, too.
I figure, If I check it every time I change the oil, I'll be good. :pimp:

My wife calls me a "tire-kicker", cuz I'm always checking the tires, and bolts, and brakelines, etc.

Better safe than sorry.

...

I think she should do an SAS for a trussed D44, w/ the ORD coilover kit....
But, that's just me.

I tossed that idea at her, and she looked at me w/ that evil eye....
As soon as she heard, "engine cage"... She was out. :haha:
