'04 Tundra DD/CC/6" lift/35s/OBA.... [Tire carnage...]

Friend of mine ended up welding all the subframe pieces together into one unit. That's the way Rancho and Tuff Country do their IFS lifts (1 piece subframes) and they made great hay about that. Cured his rattling apart and bad alignment issues.

Still waiting on the rims....
Just ordered a UniChip Tuner.

UniChip claims gains of 25hp/25ft lbs. of torque.
Doesn't seem like much to me, but the people I talk to, say they love it.

These 4.7L's ''take a second to think" when you step on the skinny pedal hard.
There's a definitive pause from pedal-stomp, to hauling a$$, stock.

Apparently, this tuner eliminates that... That's enough for me. :D

Rims are finally here....

Oh.... I was, "wtf?" :D

They're shiiiiny!
I'm gonna look up how to keep them that way...

I wonder if you can clearcoat chrome? ...

Just dropped the Tundra off at Central 4wd.
Joe said I should have back tomoro night, possibly Thursday morning.

I'm happy. :D

Whenever these new Bilstein's start to go, They'll be replaced with these:

Icon 'extended travel' coilover's.....

These Camburg UCA's will also go in.

Joe just called me.....

....And I quote:

"The good news is your lift kit's installed, and your new rim's will be here tomoro."
"The bad news is, your new rim's will be here tomoro."

Apparently,
we've been waiting the last 3 gawdamm weeks for them to "custom drill" 5-lug rims for me.....

Well great..... Too bad my Toyota is a standard 6-lug!!!

Oh, what's that you say?
You have the Toyota 6-lug's IN STOCK, and we never needed to wait in the first place!?

Thanks Fuel.... Your stupidity is awe-inspiring.

:doah:

I like Central 4wd.... but, I advise against buying rims directly from FUEL.
Go through a rim dealer that keeps them in stock.
