SAS time.... Let's talk.
I'm sick and tired of alignments.
This IFS bullsh*t is coming out....
A D44/coilovers/3-link/panhard bar are going in.

The wife ok'd it, cuz in her words; "
whatever fixes the problem, is fine."
I explained how it will track differently over bumps,
and how the feel will be different, but how it will be better overall.
I can buy a D44, and rebuild it,
for what it would cost to R&R
every bushing, R&R the Steering Rack,
and align it every other month...
As opposed to a one time rebuild, and driveway alignments.
I also explained to her, that we could adjust a solid axle,, on the side of the road.
Yer just stuck, w/ IFS...
She said it's cool.
Question is, which 44 should I use?
I found a HP-D44 out of a '78 ford, for $100 on CL.
Not sure if I should go HP-D44, or chevy, or what?
I'm really only worried about width, and gear rotation.
The perches will be removed, new knuckles, and a full rebuild will take place, etc.
The front T-case output, on the Tundra, is dead-in-the-middle of the truck.
So, I guess I could go either way on Diff. locations.
Does the Ford D44 rotate opposite of the Chevy, or anything wierd like that?
I seem to remember something of that nature...
