OK, from the post just below, I've upgraded my shocks to the Bilstein 5100's and the ride has been nice. Over the past month or two, the front end seems to bounce a bit more than normal (to me) when I hit bumps. Feels like the tire is bouncing excessively and not really gliding over the bumps very well.
So, assumed that the shocks must be going bad, so talked Amazon to replace the front two under warranty. Did take some back and forth, but they eventually sent me a new front pair. Didn't want to push replacing the backs too.
Replaced them and really, not feeling much of a difference.
Still seems to excessively bounce. They were genuine GM ones.
Read that the Control Arm Bumpers could be bad and a lot of reviews say it changed their truck ride night and day. So after looking at mine in not-so-good condition, I'm thinking this is the problem. Well, after replacing, I'm not really feeling any vast improvement.
Any ideas? Can the Torsion bars create this if getting too worn??
