Just looking for some options and opinions. I've got an '06 GMC CCLB 4x4 Duramax. It has bad tire wear from what looks like hopping. It has whatever shock brand Fabtech uses in their 4" lift. I'm looking to get an alinement and shocks.

What does the brotherhood suggest? It's 99.99% road queen and does little towing. (sold off most reasons to have a CCLB diesel)

I was thinking Bilstein 5100. It's the route I'll go on the Blazer sooner or later.

thanks :waytogo:

I know bilstein was having a problem with the lower shock bushings in the 5100's. They have supposedly fixed that, but never know if you get old stock, etc. Im soon to be in the market for new ones on my dually. Damn thing oscillates like hell after a bump, but its comfy.....anyway, I keep drifting back & forth between the HD's and the 5100's. Either way I will prob go with bilsteins.

I always heard the Bilstein`s were a great improvement over stock in the D-max. I was going to upgrade mine, but sold it.

I've been VERY happy with the Bilsteins on my truck. I put new front shock mounts on the other day and it was about all I could do to compress them and that's after years of abuse.
