1 5/8" tube?

What is everyone's thoughts on using 1 5/8" tube for an exo on my crew cab? I wanted to use 1 3/4", but I've happened upon some 1 5/8" at a pretty good price. Also, the bender that I'm getting comes with a 1 5/8" die and I'd have to buy the 1 3/4" extra. I want to save money, buy I want my family to be safe too.

1 5/8" is less common for sure. Sometimes just as expensive as the larger due to being less common. If your in an area where guys are building drag cars with regularity, some of the local steel warehouses may carry it.

Might want to check into its availability first.
