I haven't update this for a while.
Had a bad road bump clunk show up on the left front. I crawled around under it multiple times looking for something loose. Prybars on everything. Finally found the issue. The new caliper retainer spring clip was flat. Not spring steel. Used an old one. Fixed.
The tune I paid good money for work, but was never correct. I started communicating with a guy in Oregon. "When I get it all fixed, you can pay me."
I discussed all of the following with the original tuner, no resolution.
Starting it, it ran really fat and rough. 20 seconds later, it would smooth out.
Would start and fire out the right side exhaust once.
Light throttle would hang up at low speed. Bumped it into neutral once and it ran to 3k RPM.
Throttle was never real responsive.
Would shift funny 3 to 4. This was my biggest issue because these transmissions die if not right.
RPM surge during deceleration.
The guy read my tune after I sent it. With all of the specs.
Sent me one. Loaded and cold start log. Then warm engine idle log.
Sent another back for another warm idle log.
The next was a drive under normal conditions.
Then normal with one 40mph start WOT pull.
Then a couple of zero 60 WOT pulls.
Holy crap, what a difference. Throttle snaps now.
He responded within 30 minutes after each log sent to him.
I was going to going T&T Friday, but I found a wheel weight next to the left front wheel. Next week.
Then the locker, tap shift and slicks will go on it for the next run.
