I have a 1979 k10 with a sm465 and was wondering if that i put on this 1 inch body lift, will it throw off my stick for shifting and will I have to cut the floor or anyhting because my bro ford had a body lift and the sick was hitting the edges of the hole???

1" is not usually enough to effect shifters. Every truck is different & there is no way to be 100% sure it will work. Your bro prolly has a 3" body lift.

nah i think ur gonna be alright.. just very little adjustment etc... i think the stick should be fine, i had a 3 inch body lift before it was fine. but lil issues.. so im sure 1 inch is perfect.

I had a 3" body lift on a '70 K20 when I bought it. Shifted alright until you got it twisted up. Evne then it wasnt the shifter that was the issue it was the mechanical clutch linkage
