Will the front and rear 1980ish 1 ton ford dually fit under an 88 K5 Blazer? I want to upgrade from my 1/2 ton to stronger axles and I can buy this whole truck for 800. SHould I?

In short no.

The mid 80's ford front axle spring perches are too wide, by about 4". Plus the dif. housing is a drivers side drop on the fords, passenger on chevys.

The rear is possible but again the spring perches will need to be moved and the hubs will make your tires stick out of the fender wells. Unless it's a c&c and then I'm not sure what that would do..

It sounds like a fair price for the truck, you might be able part it or trade with someone for a chevy d60 tho.

Oh Well, Maybe I will still buy it and see if I can trade it like you said. :)

Thanks for the info!
