1 ton springs on 3/4 ton Sub.

I want to put 1 ton springs under my .75 ton Sub...

My Sub is an '89

The springs are off of an 89 Crew Cab

I need to know if there is going to be any welding or modification that I am going to need to do to make them fit.

I am installing a 1" body lift and 1" zero rate springs front and rear from Off Road Design this upcoming weekend and I want to do the 1 tons at the same time. I need this to be a down and dirt upgrade so I can mount up my 33's and go cruise around the dunes the next weekend for a beach cleanup.

If its just the spring and the springs your are using are the same length as the 3/4ton springs, then its a direct swap

I put 3/4T into a 1/2T burb does that count? They be a little stiffer but they will work

I always thought the 1 ton springs were wider but all the spring company's list the springs as fitting 1/2, 3/4, and 1 ton so go figure.
