I drive a 1985 suburban k10 diesel and yesterday i discovered there is some play in my rear bearings. I have a big warehouse near my home wich sells all kind of bearings but i need the size. I looked all over the internet but did not find a chart with bearing sizes for the 10 bolt. I was hoping one of you guys could help me out with this ? Thanks in advance, Matt

Just pull it out and have them match it:dunno:

if you cant find the specs you could look at a replacement at the parts store. then give the wharehouse the brand and part#. they should be able to crossreference it

The warehouse should be able to cross-ref from an e.g. Timken part number.

Also note that they're not expensive, so you could just walk into an auto parts store and get them by application.

But, if you WERE to look them up on the web page to a popular nationwide auto parts chain, you'd find something like this:

http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail/BCA0/6408.oap?pt=C0055&ppt=C0337

which would give you something like this:

Bore Size: 1.622 in. (41.198mm)
Outside Diameter: 2.531 in. (64.287mm)
Width: 0.8624 in. (21.904mm)

But you could just walk in and say "I want something that cross-refs to a National 6408."

..shrug.. NAPA's web page is also very good for part numbers and details.

(Note: I may or may not have the right part number, so consider this to be teaching you to fish and not giving you the fish. Look up the numbers yourself and don't hold me to the specifics :deal: )
