A love story in two pictures. What in the hell this nonsense is is now gone.

The heated o2 was tied to the small pole on the solenoid and then that blue wire went to the park switch on the wiper motor with a nasty t tap. Yuck.

Which brings me to ask, why do I even have this? Was the one wire o2 a problem? Where should the red wire ideally go? I’m thinking a fuse tap in the cab.

Then I found that burnt module. Wondering if these are related? I doubt it.

Then frieburger came out with this cool shirt!

heated o2 work better. The crap t tap to wiper was a short cut to keyed hot. Yes you could find an empty cavity in fuse panel to heat your o2.

Modern trailer brake controllers are way better now.

Nope module did that on it's own, probably high resistance on the ground down the line. Is a common failure.

So what drive train are we going with, now that it is driver drop?
This is prep for an nv4500 241 while this 350 is still good. Way down the line I’ll be able to just put a 29 spline input into this driver drop tcase and have a gm speed signal. I’m a big fan of the 241 overall.

Worst part is going to be redoing the exhaust to clear the front driveshaft.
