10 bolt pinion seal R&R

I need to replace the rear pinion seal on my 84`s 10 bolt. First question is does anybody know the torque spec on the D/S yoke nut?? Also seems on what I recall to be my 74 K10, I did a seal on it and had tightened the nut up pretty tight which resulted in the yoke not spinning easily anymore and had to back it off. Am I missing something here??
 
There is no torque spec for that diff, it uses a crush sleeve. Too tight and the pinion bearings will burn up in short order, too loose and they will chatter and destroy themselves in short order. There is a small window for pinion bearing preload and you must disassemble the whole diff to set it correctly (using a torque wrench that measures inch-lbs).


Reusing the pinion nut WILL cause it come loose and destroy everything, its not a matter of if but when.
