10-bolt punishment.

i know its a different kind of punishment but mines been through about 40 of these. that is with a 3000 stall converter, my new one will be a 4000 LOL... 10 bolt wont hold up for that i dont think

I've never busted a ten bolt, and I've had 6 different K-series truck's.

I have a few different hobbies, and in everyone of them there are certain "mandatory" upgrades that people spew, meanwhile, people who stay off the net have no idea and blissfully enjoy themselves without blowing a load of cash.

The only reason's I would do a 14bff is, I wanted to cheaply gear down and pick up a locker in the process, or I did bust a ten bolt, I wouldn't bother to replace a 10 bolt with one.

my dad built a rear engine dragster and had a 454 turning 22 inch wide slicks thru a 10 bolt and never broke anything. thats why i am gearin mine and gonna abuse them. but like said earlier break it then don't get another but you may go 10 years before you snap one?

i just had my front and rear bouncing into the air going over ruts with a complete stock truck with 10bolts and i didnt break em haha
