10 bolt question

In my 87 K5 is the stock 10 bolt a 7.5 ring gear or a 8.5?

I think the 7.5s came in s10s and cars but never in a full size.

Thats what I thought. I was getting in a arguement trying to buy a mini spool. So I left it at that. And figured I would ask the brotherhood. If I had the time I would go measure it.

right. but the ZR2 wears big boy pants and has an 8.5".

blazer and k10 guys grenade enough 8.5s (i probably will before long), but i wonder how many seconds a 7.5" would last under one.
