10 spline Lomax yes/no?

Thanks, I too have consumed lots of ord koolaid and I love it. I have been super happy with everything I’ve used from them and they’re nice guys on the trail too. Always willing to help anybody.
Everyone told me to go 4500 when I was building my 465 but I was stubborn because I already had it and the ball was rolling. But hey, apparently I like buying truck parts!
I'm listening, ha! I honestly want to order the 32 spline Gm figure 8 magnum box alone soon. Cause once I buy the box, it's going to happen. And then get the rest of the parts as money comes along.

But, keep my eye out for a NV4500....

This will happen, oh yes it will.

Another thing worth mentioning about the 4500. How it feels vs shifting the 465. A spoon in a bowl of mashed potatoes(465) vs firm, crisp, precise with the 4500.

Mashed potatoes are good. But Firm, crisp, and precise.....

It looks like back into the polluted swamp that is FB market place I go looking for someone with an IQ near or above Forrest Gump selling an NV4500.

Sigh.....

"These NV45,000 Rock crawling racing transmission are hard to find man, I know what I have!"

There's a 1992 nv4500 with bellhousing for 1000$ on FB marketplace? Claims 40k miles...

Answered message immediately and says also a member of squarebody ls swaps or whatever....

I'm taking the wisdom of the CK5 @Capt Ron @Fastereddie and others. I just ordered an NV4500 from High Gear transmission in Memphis. $2495 shipped including core and warranty.

Will be a minute before I can swap it in because now I can't order doubler parts for a bit, but I feel I'm doing it right this way. These are dyno tested and pretty solid. Will need bellhousing and hydraulic pedal.

I see the 01-06 bellhousings are available for reasonable prices, and I know Mal Wood makes a good bolt in clutch pedal as well.

This thread went from a 10 spline lomax, to an ordered NV4500. That escalated quickly.
