10b to d60 - Need new brake lines?

Mine didn't. The bolt size at the caliper is bigger on the 60. I'm not recomendig this but I drilled the bolt holes in my lines a little bit bigger and it works fine. It was supposed to be temporary but that was a year and a half ago. No leaks and I've been hard on the brakes.

I swapped from a 10b to a 60, and everything bolted on, no issues. If it's a 44, then the banjo is a different size......

my 10 bolt banjo were a diferent size in an 87. My doner 60 was old, late 70's mabe an 80.

??? Pull them apart and see if the washers are crushed? If not the fitting might not be on right.

I tried reversing sides, nothing. They look like they fit, but the leaks are bad. I was going to order some SS lines, so I guess there is no time like the present. If anyone thinks of anything, I'll be back at it tomorrow. Thanks for the help Sope.

The banjo block is probably hitting the caliper somewhere. I had to grind a small amount on the banjo block for it to seat properly. Also the 10 bolt and D60 use the same banjo bolt it is the D44 that is different.

I just came in from doing exactly that. And it worked. I could see shere it was rubbing. So I will bleed them tommorow...

I remember doing that also, You can only orientate the block one way - if that makes sense.

I had leak on mine and found a small scratch on the block. I was able to use a flapper wheel to smooth it out and seal up. I didn't think that was going work, but I figured it was worth a shot before throwing the entire hose away.
