anyone here around since the beginning? I recall there was another forum that died and this forum started. I was sent by a link.

Me and a handful of others are left...........

The "other" forum didn't die, CK5 just got upgraded a couple of times along the way.

Yep me and Paul and a couple others have been here since before we started keeping track of post counts. Only one forum back in the beginning and one page in the photo gallery.

I've been here since "almost" the beginning. This is the second longest relationship I've ever had. ;)

Later,
Buddy

Been here since 2000

Member# 594...... does that count?

Man, I'm such a post whore lately.

:usaflag:

I found CK5 by accident one day, didn't put it in my favorites, and spent several days trying to find it again :D

My first post was in one of the first Blazerfest threads :p:

Anyone remember when there was a CK5.com site but no forum? Had to been around '97 or '98 because I remember finding this site while sitting in the computer labs in college, and I graduated in '98.

The CK5 rig still had 10-bolts with 35" All-Terrains. I bought the 6-lug spacers for the rear axle off of Steve when he went 3/4 ton.

I got my Blazer in 2000. I saw the site when I was searching for repair help around that time or maybe 2001 or so. I didn't even really know what forums were back then. I didn't really get into harder wheeling until I got to college (well ... transferred schools). That's when I became an actual paying member.

My stats say july 2000 but i found CK5 in 1999 after i bought my K5.
I remember when there was only one forum to post in.
Still proudly running 10 bolts:thumb:

My best friend (at the time) introduced me to this site when we were 16 and his parents bought him his first blazer. The year was 1999. I signed up some time in 2001 when I bought my first blazer, and 86 with 35 bfg mud terrains that was fully restored and beeeautiful. I quickly destroyed that truck and forgot about this site. Came back a few years (and blazers) later when I bought my 74. Got a paid membership and have been spending money ever since!

In the beginning GM created the Blazer. Now Al Gore's introweb was formless and empty. Steve said, "let there be ColoradoK5.com", and there was ColoradoK5.com. Steve saw that it was good and seperated the nOObs from the Mods. He said, "be fruitful, go forth and mod your trucks. Drive over the rocks and subdue them, and then retire to the Lounge to BS and argue", and it was so. Steve looked over all that he created, and saw that it was very good. Amen.

I've lurked for years at the Library in High School. Didn't get signed up till a coupl eyears after school. So i've kinda been here. I'm just not as old as some of yoiu:p:

I lurked for a little while at first, finally signed up in July 2000. Been quiet as a church mouse ever since, which is why I'm relatively unknown here...:p:
