11.00r16 Michelins

where did you guys who run these find them?

yes i have searched, alot. it is getting harder to find these tires, i really should have bought some a year ago and held onto them until i needed them.

i need some tires that will be able to teke the hwy miles that i have to drive now, going to school in central-southern CA and home being in WA.

i think the swampers have another couple of months left, but i will need new tires before i drive home in June for the summer.

if anybodys got a set lying around, or if you bought some and still have the contanct info of your source, i would be greatly appreciative of any information you might have

I got mine on eBay. Just look under 'military tires'.

I posted in the wanted section a little over a year ago and got lucky. I think they are harder to find because the military doesn't use them anymore, but I could be mistaken. Of course you can buy them new.

Yeah, they're drying up now. The place that CDA got his from used to always have a few sets on eGay but now they have none and haven't had any for a while. I have a daily eGay search for "11.00 16" and haven't gotten any hits in weeks.

I did email the guy on Steel Soldiers who had a set a while ago but haven't heard anything back.
