My sons buddy has a 67 C10 with a 6 lug 12 bolt rear end. He converted the front to 5 lug disk.
I told him that I have a set of 5 lug axles out of a 79 C10 12 bolt I would give him.
Any body know if they are the same length?

I've converted a few early trucks to 5 lug. from what I remember, all 12 bolt 2x truck axles are the same length.

Sweet! The young guy was thinking the axles from the 79 might be to long. I wasn`t sure. To bad I chucked out the drums that go with them. :doah:

Just found this on google.... Looks like they will be 1”1/2 to long per side.

I am fairly confident that what you found is correct. I tried it back in 1986 with my old '68 C10. I had axles out of a '72. No go.
I had to swap the while axle housing.
If you can't find the correct axle, I believe that it was Early Classic that had a bracket for the right side at the U bolt, and a longer panhard bar to get around not having the stud on the differential center section.
