Wasilla AK,
Step up guys I need some feedback on a "completely hypothetical" project

97 12-valve 5-speed

Twin Turbos
Snow Stage 2 water metahanol injection
O-ringed and studded head with 60lbs springs
4000 GSK
timing set to 16-degrees
Dual Disc South-Bend Towing clutch
Fullysplined Mainshaft
370 marine Injectors or comparable
Delivery Valves
fuel plate removed
Pac-brake
gear-vendors O/D
5" turbo-back exhaust
3.73 gears
315-70-16's ( dually )

Vehicle in question would be a 91 V3500

That'd be awesome, but you need way more timing than 16* on that setup. A stock engine likes to run 15-16* OEM is 13.5* and thats just garbage. Gear vendors on a 5speed nv4500? :zombie4: not nessicary. get better injectors than marines. grind a zero plate and tune the AFC housing. don't run no plate.

:D I've got a ringed 12v head and 625ARPs in my garage ready to go

How Much timing ? 17-18??Can a Common rail twin turbo setup be used on a 12-valve? ( I kept the setup off my 2005 )Why a Zero Plate VS. No Plate? ( I've been reading conflicting reports on this)Gear Vendors is a maybe thing , its gonna be a tow rig so I figure the extra gear split would be niceI can get , 370 Hp pistons and Injectors for near free, but you say the Injectors are no good what do you recomend ?I'm not new to the 5.9 but this will be my 1st built 12 valve. How much for the head and studs shipped to wasilla AK lol

dont do the 370s. IIRC the spray pattern is incorrect for the truck application. and the fuel hits the wrong part of the piston bowl causing problems.
the turbos off the CR should work fine, you might have to do a little tweakage on the plumbing depending on the exhaust manifold you used on your CR. but the turbos themselves shouldnt be an issue as long as you can spool them.
i've seen the timing set from between 18 & 22 depending on the engine. probably 18-19 to start and then go up from there.
and overall, project sounds badass!

Plumbing as far as the Oil feeds and returns or the Aftercooler piping?? I have an Idustral Injection "towing twins" setup for a Common rail so and it came with its own manifold

mostly i was worried about the piping for the twins as well as the intake and intercooler pipes. cuz the standard common rail exhst mani is offset to wards rear more then the earlier styles. and it would depend on the body clearance as to where the turbos would drop if they'd fit without modding atall.

I plan on a 2" body lift , hopefully that will gain me some clearance, If not I'll just have to buy a manifold for a 12-valve

the V3500 doesn't have A/C so thats working in my favor at least

I'm running an 04 exhaust manifold and a 1" body lift that clears the ac fine. The only custom piping will be my oil line for the turbo. Instead of running it to the factory position I'm gonna put it in the oil pan for a straight shot.
