hey everybody... i got a 14 b rear and D44 from a 77 3/4 ton truck... also have 8 lug wheels and tires, and rear disk conversion... asking $400 (obo) for everything. P/U is prefered... MD, 21078

That sounds like a super price for all that hardware. Just to give you a bump, what gears are in those axles, and are they open diffs, welded, gov-lock, etc?

i know nothing about the axles... came with my blazer when i bought it and im not ready to put them in... maybe ill replace the 10 bolts in a few years. all i know is that they are off of a 77 3/4 ton P/U... the D44 has warn manual locking hubs... can get pics if that would help

Unfortunately for both of us, I'm half a country away from MD, but a few key bits of info might get other interested forum users nearer your location showing up at your front door with a trailer, some loading muscle, and cold cash. Gear ratio, type of differentials (open, posi, etc), and posting pictures letting people see their condition would definitely help sell them. Pictures of the ID tags, if still on the axles, might indicate the stock gear ratio when decoded.

By the way, some Dana 44 axles from '77 still had the more in-demand (for ease of crossover steering conversion) flat-top knuckles, but most had round-tops. Here is what they look like. Which knuckles does your Dana 44 have?

no it is not... in fact i may be going down to the VA area later in Oct. to visit some colleges... might be able to hook you up then if you didnt need them right away.

BTW its the rear disk conversion BRACKETS... need to get teh brakes & ect. from other places.
