Good luck finding one that has thin enough walls to fit in the pinion though. I ended up buying a cheap set of monster sockets from Harbor Freight just to get the socket that had thin enough walls to get down around the nut. My Craftsman socket was too thick. I've heard some folks actually grind down a cheap thick wall socket to fit.
Went to autozone and bought a Great Neck Brand 1-1/2" for my 14ff and a 1-5/16 for my D60, The one for my 14ff fit fine, but the one for the D60 is very tight. It worked w/o grinding, but I considered doing it because it didn't quite fit all the way into the yoke, but still got a good bite.
S&K has larger sockets that have thin walls. Got one that fit my D60. Will probably be where I go for my 14ff if the socket I already have doesn't fit.
I got my socket at sears, I dont remember the exact size, I will check when I get home but I do know that it was a 3/4" drive socket i used. The thing fit it there absolutely perfectly.
