14 bolt conversion Q\'s

OK, gonna try to aquire the parts I need to get my 14 bolt under my truck...I still need to get the perches welded on, but untill then I might as well get everything else squared away.
-Ok so whats the conversion U-joint number I need?
-Where can I find larger U-bolts (4inch lift block)?
-Can I use the E-brake lines that are on the 14b (out of a van if that matters) or should I reuse my 10 bolt ones? just from a quick look under it they look like they attach differently (The van ones)
-Can I reuse my brake line off my stock 10 bolt?(the rubber line that connects to the steel one) cuz I had to cut the van one off.
-And finally does anyone know if the Van spring perches are the correct angle for use in a truck? I know the perches are to far out, but Im just gonna have the new perches welded on and leave the old ones too (plenty of room) and I figured it would be easier to match the stock angle (If I can) or are the van ones different for some reason??

Re: 14 bolt conversion Q\'s

For U-bolts any spring shop can make them for you for around 45$

Not sure about the van e-brake cables.

Yes you can use the stock brakeline from the 10 bolt.

Since the blocks have the angle milled into them for the lift you can attach the new perches exactly the same as the old ones.

Re: 14 bolt conversion Q\'s

When the spring perches are welded on you should have them welded to give you the pinion angle that you need.

Re: 14 bolt conversion Q\'s

Oregon Spring on Stark makes u-bolts.

Re: 14 bolt conversion Q\'s

also forgot, is there somewhere I can get the proper spring plates for a 14bolt? the ones that I took off the van arent wide enough for my springs.

Re: 14 bolt conversion Q\'s

They might have them, if not try 4wheel parts on 82nd.
Beal or 6 States off of Columbia may have them too.
