14 bolt disc brake swap - need help

I tried vice grips and huge channel locks. I will ask everyone tonight at poker who has a welder and can help me out. If noone has one, I guess I need to buy one and learn how. Are there inexpensive welders that are easy to learn? I NEED to get my truck going.

Harbor freight has a 110 volt welder that is flux core and dirt cheap .

BTW , is there any flat edges left on the bolt head ? Sometimes a box end of 12 point will strip the bolt , but a six point socket or box end still grabs the flats .

And then there are always those weird grip things Sears sells for extraction .

Sorry, about the bolt. I know Home Depot or any other hardware store sells 110 flux core welders. Good for small jobs and not to bad a tool learn a little on.

alright. got the thing out. it is tore up, but out.

Now my question is, if i put in a no slip or lockrite do i need to find a new one of these bolts?

If the old carrier is used and they are just a lunch box locker then yes you need to find a new pin. If the whole carrier gets replaced the new carrier may come with a new bolt already.

vice grips. i just went to town. I found the part number for the new bolt - 81048. Too bad noone has it in stock. I guess I will have to order it online and wait. At least I can get to work on it now.
