how clean is this axle? I may be making a quick trip to the east coast to drop off a rust free truck. Picking up a 4.56 D60 while I'm there. this may work out if the truck sells... Got any pics? what area of upstate?
I am just north of Syracuse New York. The rear was recently cleaned up and painted before I took it out of the truck. When they relocated the shock brackets and perches they could of done a better job making the welds look nicer. I will post up a picture of the rear shortly. Sorry it took so long to respond, I have been doing my Chemotherapy treatments. The rear does have fairly new wheel cylinders and brake work.
sorry to hear about your illness. I haven't been on here much so I'm not current. I appreciate the reply. still haven't heard if i will be making a trip out that way yet or not anyway.
I will let you know if this trip ends up happening. That would be the perfect match to the front I'm getting.
hoping to know with in the next week if it will happen. then just have to find out the best time to actually make the trip. If I don't make this trip. Is there a fed ex depot near by? I may just have it shipped freight.
Sorry Poorboy, I don't have one really nearby and not to be a pus, but I haven't been much good since I started chemotherapy back up so making a pallet becomes a pain in the ass.....a little rectal cancer humor right there and being I have it I am going to make fun about it.
