I’m trying to swap out hubs from what I think are C&C to SRW hubs. The axle came with DRW. I traded a guy for what he said were SRW for my DRW hubs.
The hubs I want to install don’t fit. I measured the bearing face to face distance the best I could and the SRW measure about 4 1/2” while the ones on the truck are about 3 7/8”. There’s not enough thread for the spindle nut on the “new” hubs.
I’ve been reading anything I could find but cannot find why this difference exists of these hubs are actually SRW hubs.
I found one post that reference different races that could be used but nothing beyond a single post.
Are there different sizes of hubs? Are there different races / bearing sets that would explain this? Any remedy? (Bunch of pics that show the issue)
