14 bolt pinion carrier install** prob solved, thanks

OK, which way does the pinion carrier go? There are two oiling ports in the carrier, one a 1/2 in hole and the other a large ununiform shape. Does the larger opening go to the top for the oil to enter to lube the bearings, or is it the other way?

I thought the bolt pattern was setup so it could only go in one way
