bp71k5...any pictures of your installed rear p/b set up?

This one seems to show it the best. The post has two kinds of parking brake setup. The last picture in the first post is what I am using.

Edit: the site has changed a bit since I ordered. They seem to have a new parking brake bracket/caliper setup. It's not what I used. I bought their calipers with an ebrake on them (visually identical to 76-78 elderado) and I installed them with a ruff stuff disc brake bracket.

We're talking about a 14bff setup? If so, not without grinding.

I was asking about the specific parking brake calipers.

I think Brian has TSM's Eldo-sish-style calipers. (I say "ish" as their spring arrangement is different, IIRC.) Brian, these are a purely mechanical caliper. See below.

Doug, how the hell are you? Haven't see you around in forever!

Will they work with a 15" wheel?

Martin

They'll fit a 16", donno about 15". See for yourself, below, compared to the usual K20 caliper. As with that I suspect it'll depend on backspacing. Looks like the pad part would clear no problem, but the lever mechanism at the back might be a tight fit.

How do they work?

Martin

Well enough, though I found they required a bunch of adjustment to get dialed in. They held better than the Caddies, but I live on an incline and wanted something as nuclear-powered as the stock drums, so I ended up switching to a transfer case brake and selling this kit to another member.

Thanx for the pics brother Aaron. Surviving. Going thru LSX swap hell currently. Long and expensive story. Working 10 days a month until things get better. Surviving and adjusting to that thing called time off.

Am i seeing this correctly...they use the stock park brake cables?

Good to hear!

I was able to use my stock '74 cables, which are different from the later (mid-80's up?) style. Seem to recall the caliper having a nice angle bracket whose hole I only had to drill out a smidge, and then they had an optional eyelet connection or something that hooked right up.
