ive got one but once i finish the FF its going under instead. They are plenty strong though it served me well.

1986 GMC Jimmy 6" springs 3" body, 38/15.5/15 Swampers, 14-bolt FF rear, Dana 60 front, 1991 front-end.

SORRY WENT FROM 10 BOLT TO 14 BOLT FULL FLOATER.

I'AM NOT YELLING I JUST HATE THAT DAMM SHIFT BUTTON

1 in back of my 90 Burb. I just put an Eaton Posi in it yesterday and after taking it apart, I wanna know what is "Semi-Floating" about this unit?! It is a 100% non floater ... just like the dif. in the back of my Toyota or 8 3/4 Mopar. Dang , should've spent my money on a 14 FF, now I gotta go out and break the damn thing before the girlfriend will let me buy a new differential! Maybe I'll get lucky and twist the 12 bolt front and have an excuse for a 60 too!

I've got one, 4.10 Gov-Loc, 1982 K20, has done me real well. Gov-Loc works really well until you get in deep.

Oh yeah, it's 8 lug!! I've got a real one. :)

I got one, and I am converting it to six lug for the 87 K5.

They are plenty beefy, and less weight than a FF

I've got one. 4.10 geared, Detroit locked, converted to 6 lug from an 86 Sub so it was a bolt in affair. Put a spacer behind the axle bearings (.150) for my own peice of mind and finally slapped on some disc brakes.

I still have the SF in the Sub but there's a trailer behind my Sub with pickup truck that has a FF. It's going in the Sub ASAP. Some day I'll find a Dana 60 too.

It's a wheelbase thing, you wouldn't understand.

What's the spacer for? Does it have something to do with the 6 lug conversion?

I have a SF w / ARB 3.73s

I have launched it (about 2 feet in the air), towed my 3300lb boat, and wheeled the local rock yards. I am AMAZED that I haven't broken the C clip yet. Especially, since, I haven't ordered a spair yet! :D
