Got a little more done on it today.

It's looking like 8 1/2" bolts from the back side to make studs and probably 8 jamb nuts on the drive shaft side of the flange.

Haven't welded the yoke in and I think I need a speedi sleeve!:eek1:

you know if you are running a 14 bolt you can go to a dodge dealer and get a pinion Flange for a AAM 10.5 or 11.5 and a 1485 Flange that will bolt right on to the GM 14 bolt

True but they won't do the angles. I think that's what came out of the last conversation about the AAM flange.

Damnit, I just finished making my 1410 flanges at his shop yesterday, and then this pops up again. I feel so inadequate. :rotfl:

This was just the first one, tried it with a 14BFF yoke first since I have a few extra of them laying around.

Next I'll get into the dana 60 and 205 yokes so I can have 1480's at all points.

What's a matter Mikey, ya got ujoint envy?:haha:

are there any provisions for a snap ring on the top of the cap, with the higher speeds if drive shafts due to being before the diff you are going to have problems with throwing caps out of the yolks

The snap ring is on the inner side of the yoke, just like it is on most axle shafts.

kert what are you doing about the yokes for the transfer case/d60??everything ive hound has been discontinued

Making my own like above.

My rig is trail only so i don't see the retaining clips being a problem. IF it is, nothing a spot weld won't fix.
