can't you swap SRW hubs on to that and make it wider? depending on how much he wants for the set you should consider buying them. there are guys that will buy those C&C hubs or swap you for SRW hubs. you could also part out the front axle for a nice profit depending on the ratio.

Just for future reference, how can you tell the difference between the C&C versions?

It has the Dually hubs on it (longer stickout from the WMS flange) and it is a C&C because the wide 14FF dually is like 73" WMS-WMS =way ****ing wide:D. If it were a wide 14FF it would be wider than the 10 bolt in front of it.

I look and the bevel/angle of the outside of the drum and being that the outside of the drum looks like a shallower aangle (DRW) as opposed to the SRW which looks like a steeper angle drum on the outside. Not to clear but that is how I tell.

If you change the hubs & disc it you'll have to use weld on caliper brackets & I think you'll have to cut off the backing plate flange in order to make room for the wider spacing on the spring perches.

It also appears to be a 1988 or later by the ribbed housing. It is also from a 1 ton by looking at the angled shock brackets.

C and C's go good under jeeps . I would leave it not worth the time to change everything for what a SRW 14 cost's. Also a C an C the housing is narrower I think. But you could also check the 14 bolt bible for sure.

the housing is not more narrow. where the backing plates mount is more narrow. the C&C housing uses the same length axleshafts as a SRW.
