Adventurous is working with one of our vendors on a 14ff shave kit. It will give about 2" of clearance under the diff and include a custom plate to weld to the bottom of the diff and a diff cover which is made for the additional clearance. It will also have a truss option for links and what not. It will not require modifing the ring gear. We are looking to release it soon and looking to see what interest we have in it.
 
I'd be interested in learning details and cost. I just shaved mine a 1/2" and wouldn't mind a bit more.
 
The cover is custom made for the shave and will have bolts in the bottom. Cost is yet to be determined and once everything is figured out and we have pics I will post them. We do have a good bit of interest so we are moving forward with it. It is being made for us so we don't have control of the timeframe but it is being worked on.
 
what is the planned thickness of the cover and the bottom plate. also on the cover i am a big fan of countersunk bolts and countersunk drain and fill plugs
 
sounds like a nice alternative to ballistics kit, without having to shave the ring gear... definitely interested
 
We are a Ballistic dealer so we will have their kit available too. I have not really looked at their kit yet. From what I just checked out you do need to shave the gears.
 
Trimming down the ring gear isn't that big a deal if it makes the kit work right. :D
