Get used to it and OFF MY LAWN.Wrong account dude
I just saw this wade, but I’ve done a few gen v swaps. My buddy Matt owns Wicked wrench Motorsports and makes harnessesIn 17 they went electrical PS. There seems to be some discussion on what pumps to put on these. Do I need the vacuum pump on 48 Chevy? Vintage air does not use vacuum for the blend doors, so I do not think so. I am very early in the process on this build. Biggest issue everyone has is the AC compressor location on the bottom right hitting frames. But with the work I am doing for a frame, that will not be an issue.
Collecting parts is getting expensive.
Oh cool. I talk to him every day so I should be able to help with whatever you need.I figured that once I get into this farther, I was going to hit him up. I will go through you first when I contact him. Gives you props for sending me to him. Following him on Istacrap already.
The center water pump is off a newer version of what you have. The vacuum pump is only required when the engine is operating in 4cyl mode. That always gets turned off on most tunes. We delete the vacuum pump and block the oil galleys with factory gm plugs from a corvette. You’ll probably have all kinds of room for activities in the panel truck, so you may be able to run it as is. But if you want power steering that’s the best route. All the ICT and Holley pulley kits suck. And they are$$$I was hoping to not have to source the centered water pump and move everything. The vacuum pump is on the driver side at the bottom. Runs its own belt. I believe the engine you posted is a car engine. truck has different component locations.
