Hi guys. Doing some cleanup work around the property and need to unload my ol' girl. I have removed the engine and transmission. Everything else is left.
I would hate to scrap something like this as I have had it for a long time and would hate to see that happen. Plus, although the body isn't in the greatest of shape, it would be great for parts and could even be driveable. I drove this truck as recently as three weeks ago, right before I pulled the engine. It drives okay but of course not perfect. The steering is very loose and the wheel has a lot of slop. The axle and what's left of the drivetrain are in pretty good shape. Brakes do not have very many miles on them and carrier bearing was replaced not many miles ago as well. The wiring has a lot of problems and will likely need to be completely reworked. As mentioned, it is quite the fixer-upper, but a great starting point for a full rebuild.
I can take pics of other areas if you like. In my honest opinion, it would be a good buy if you are local. Probably not worth driving a whole lot out of your way to get it.
Also, I will GIVE you this truck in exchange for doing complete, professional-quality exhaust on my K5 (6.2 turbo).
