Maybe thats what I’m calling the secondary circuit. It will pull as long as you slowly accelerate, but anything harder and it coughs and breaks up and won’t run.

That would be the accelerator circuit. Make sure you are getting a good squirt when the throttle is opened.
I’m the idiot, the metering rod spring was under the lift arm holding it down. Went on a long test drive and everything went great!
Well its no longer for sale. My mom just gave it to our 9 year old daughter as an “early inheritance”. Time to make it a daily driver.
