Hard to tell for sure, but it looks like you could shim the front of the cowl up a little.
And it looks like you could rotate the left hood hinge backwards on the fender, which will bring the back of the hood down. You may already know about this though.
The little rubber bumpers on the top of the fenders help center the hood between the fenders. I don't know how else to get a minor shift sideways with the hood than relying on the bumpers. Maybe someone else has something.

Yeah I ran out of time yesterday messing with it. I'm going to see what I can do with the hood today. It's just a shame the original fender is messed up beyond repair and the hood is gone. So I have to use the replacement fender the previous owner gave me. And a hood I found locally.
If not, the lines I can live with, for now.

Keep in mind that these old trucks never had stellar body line gaps. Plus, it seems like you have the attitude that it won't be a problem when you are driving it!

Lower radiator hose is on... Had to cut to fit and used the other hose I screwed up on as a buffer between the frame and the lower hose.

I read numerous posts and asked a guy on Instagram what he uses and these were recommended from various places

Got the Lokar throttle cable feed through but.... it's far too long. These are trim to fit but I wanted get in and see. Not bad compared to the rod.

anywho, I've been reading these can a bish to trim and have the wire not fray. I tape it so it won't flop around.

I'm putting a Lokar gas pedal and throttle cable on. I have cut the housing and now need to cut the cable. I don't want to defore the cable cause it...

I have a bunch of short hose pieces I keep to use as abrasion protection.

Put some solder in the cable, right where you want to cut. Then cut the middle of the solder. It will keep the cable from fraying. If you get to much heat it up and wipe with wet cloth/sponge

I know you'll think I'm wimping out and I probably am. But I don't have enough faith in my ability to wire this truck without any issues. I've been setting aside some $$ to have it done. I drop it off December 20th for the final touches. Wiring and whatever I messed up. With a strict budget so, hopefully no surprises. But we'll see.

all I have left on my end is putting the lights in. They will wire and fill fluids and hopefully it runs.

However, if anyone is willing to come out here to Az and lend a hand I can cancel the drop off. Otherwise, it's off to vintage motors az, in Mesa.

I bought the 67-72 American wire harness. It is a damn near plug and play harness. But I just don't feel comfortable at all in doing this. I'd feel better paying a professional to do it. I know if there are hiccups I do not have the patience to trouble shoot wiring.

I'm in Gilbert by Higley and Pecos.

I watched the brothers trucks wiring video and, I don't know, man. It's beyond me. Routing, etc etc etc. I'd rather a person who has done it countless times before do it. If someone were here who has done it or has experience with wiring Id. feel better doing it.
But the thought of posting my question waiting and hoping for a reply, trying said suggestion failing or succeeding. I don't envision it going smoothly.

I know there is inherit risks having someone else do it. But to me, that outweighs the nightmare I know I'll have.
