1971 Medium Bronze K5

Build of my most recent K5
When the seats showed up I took a break from body work. Drivers side was in primer the last couple months . Finally got the body work done and painted. This was similar work as passenger side but I did have to skin the corner of the door.

Back seat hasn’t been mounted either. Finally got it in place with the Hogan Built lowered brackets. These lower the seat 2”

Why would you lower the back seat?
As I remember when sitting in the back my knees where up just below my eye line of sight

Kids and kids in car seats. When they are in a car seat they are basically level with the side of the bed. Like them to sit down in the tub a little more.
Yes. I completely agree tho, for an adults it’s already pretty low for the knees.

Enjoy this with the top on. I’m thinking about having the windows tinted.
Also really need to find a better spare tire. Il probably run a 235/75/15 BFG for matching looks. Size wise a 33 probably wouldn’t work in this carrier. Also need one stainless cap if anyone sees a cheap one

Could you put a 33-10.50 on the spare so it's functional at least or is the diameter the issue with the tire carrier?

A 33 on the back is just too much weight and looks a ridiculous if you ask me. I had a 33/12.5 on this one. Not ideal IMG_3629.jpeg
