1973-1975 blazer value

Bone stock untouched is pretty damn rare, if it's running, more so and road worthy with current reg for $1000? I'd say next to impossible and you take your life in your hands driving it home if you can even find it.

Your truck, not running, with all the trim intact, minor rust and decent stock interior, worn but not beat to crap - $1500. Still has the gravel guard on the rear quarters!
Get it for less than that and you getting a great deal. '73-'75 are worst years for rust. GM used recycled sheet metal those years. They rust out even here in SoCal.

Make it run and stop, fresh tires, wash it off, gently buff out that original paint and drive the wheels off it.
I like lifted, big tire, off road trucks as much as the next guy but real value is in stock, virgin trucks.

I have lifted trucks, I just want a fun rig to drive around.

Oh AND, Marty, Joe and I drove his 90 back from Ca to Nebraska with out a hitch. My brother and I drove a 71 cutlass back from AZ with a bit of a hitch and made it. Finally, Marty and I drove my K30 back from Iowa with out a hitch after a auto zone parking lot tune up. You just need to plan for extra time. In fact it makes for a dirt every day style trip if you plan it right. Kinda Jonesing for another one.

I concur. I want to keep buying vehicles from California, just for the trip home.

Hmm, something didn't come across right.
Rust free, running trucks are out here just not $500 anymore. $3k and you can get a good one.
Virgin 1st & 2nd series K5 trucks are rare. Truck you found is an awesome find. I WISH I could find them like that one here still. Score it for $500 and you stole it. Original paint with the moldings intact! wow...

Here is what $500-$1000 gets you in SoCal these days.

I think the one you originally posted is pretty cool. It looks like it would really clean up.
