1973 - 1980...HTT/Tubing replacement Grills

any updates on the 80's grill. I want one sooooo bad.
It will look great on the front of my cucv. I am planning on retaining the slave recepticle and the blackout drive light, so I would be happy to give you the dimensions and locations of them. should be able to use the same grill, I would have to have either square lights or smaller rounds mounted below them though.

Are these pics adiquate? I can take more if needed.
I plan on removing the bridge plate on the front that has the numbers on it.
Also I will probably be fabbing up a different grill guard when I get the front bumper done (winch bumper with a front reciever)
I am thinking that having the vertical bars of the grill just to the outside of the slave cable and the b/o light would look good.

Can the light on the right be relocated down a little bit? Like 2 inches.

Never been around a truck like yours, so i'm not sure if there is anything
that whould stop you from doing so.

Also what is the dodad on the left...A power plug of some sort?
and will you need acsess to the dodad.

The picts look great buy the way. I think with a few mods to the truck
and grill, we'll have a grill that GM should have made in the first place.

yes the light an be moved down a few inches, its on a bracket so just have to drill some new holes.

the "dodad" on the left of the truck is the NATO slave recepticle, its the military hookup for jump starting vehicles, its 24volt and fool proof to hook up, you just put the plug on it and start. Yes I need access to it, It would be much harder to relocate.

expanded. After you relocate your light downward, modify the expanded
to fit your application..

I highly doubt it gents, he's been gone a good while. THey ARE available of course if you build your own These are not hard at all to build. No time like the pressent to start a fabbin yourself.
