ok guys keep your eyes out.. for something i can go retrieve... dont mind a few miles.. but keeping it reasonable in the tristate area (NJ, DE, PA, NY)

looking for a crew cab.. yup still looking.. and 10.5k or higher GVRW.. someone did mention that there are 1980 camper specials @ 12k gvrw... oooooh i need one of them..

my goal is to put a crew cab on my frame (so need good title too)...
and put a flatbed of some sort on the back...

if you see anything cheap let me know.. i found 3 cabs for $200 each.. but non crew cabs.. and were complete so they do exist out there....:popcorn:

Oh and by the way it was 14k according to the factory sticker.
And now I have another one that is also 14k.:thumb:
And by the way that is a blaze in the back.:eek1:

whenever you got one... price and distance negotiated and all...

also if anyone has the crossmember for the back cab mounts.... that would be nice tooo unless the stocker works on a standard cab...

im needing one, but wont be til this spring after snow is done. then would like one that has no emission, ie high gvwr, etc. ya know what im talkin abt. plus my cab is rottened out.

well help me find a crew cab up there in gvrw so im lift law exempt and ill hook ya up with my cab.. barely any rust.. gvrw is 8400.. so not too shabby.. 3/4 ton camper special :waytogo:
 
I just picked up a 1980 K30 3+3 long bed, trailer special 13,000 GVW. I would sell the complete body frame and title for $400.

on the 1980's trucks... do they have the metal tag with gvrw on the door or how do they do that?

my current truck has a metal tag when you open the door on the cab...

oh yeah only one other question...
you say... sell complete body/frame and title...
guessing no axles under it.. how would one transport that thing???????????

i can drive down there... get a uhaul trailer.. but not sure how to get it on it... i can get it off of the trailer... DRAG THAT PUPPY OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!! :haha:
 
errrr i just realized.. you say washington... this is on the west coast right?
if so... umm im gonna have to pass.. way to expensive to get here..
if it is in washington DC i can drive.. 3hrs each way... :whistle:

I didnt look at the door tag but there is a trim badge on the cab that says 13,000 GVW.
My plan is to pull the axles, trans and t-case and scrap the rest if is doesnt sell. The scrap yard will give me about $300 for the body and frame.

The badge says 13,000 GCW which means gross combined weight. There is no door tag because the truck was repainted and only this sticker in the glovebox. Is the "M" in the VIN a 454 engine?

It is a Canadian model, the speedo is in Kilometers. I bought it from the second owner.

wow that is a nice truck... id love to get my hands on the entire body... grrrrr.... such a shame....
