well here she is now:
got new tires and did some minor work

fixed the wiper and washers , bolted down tool box
alligned body,
and fixed the sparkplug wires(one was torn and another was contacting the header)
fixed tailgate and installed a kill switch

Nice truck, uh trucks. Sometimes patience pays off. I was looking at a 77 blazer that needed some work to get it running. The guy was asking $1000. At that time my truck had burned down about four years previously. I had been driving around a ford taurus. Needless to say I had a jones for a Blazer again. I couldn't work out a time frame with the guy to meet up with him. One day while I was on the phone with him he mentioned that his dad had complete running 74 that he wanted to sell for $1200. Needless to say I jumped all over that. I guess he didn't want to sell that 77 too much.
I looked at the 74 and whipped out the cash. I think that he was suprised that I didn't try to talk him down. That was three happy years ago.

I paid $1200 for my 75' 8 years ago and have dropped 20 to 30k in it over the years doing all the work myself. Still not done. There are plenty ofd full converts for sale here in California.
