Nice truck, uh trucks. Sometimes patience pays off. I was looking at a 77 blazer that needed some work to get it running. The guy was asking $1000. At that time my truck had burned down about four years previously. I had been driving around a ford taurus. Needless to say I had a jones for a Blazer again. I couldn't work out a time frame with the guy to meet up with him. One day while I was on the phone with him he mentioned that his dad had complete running 74 that he wanted to sell for $1200. Needless to say I jumped all over that. I guess he didn't want to sell that 77 too much.:D I looked at the 74 and whipped out the cash. I think that he was suprised that I didn't try to talk him down. That was three happy years ago.

I paid $1200 for my 75' 8 years ago and have dropped 20 to 30k in it over the years doing all the work myself. Still not done. There are plenty ofd full converts for sale here in California.

I think I speak for all of us rust-belt dwellers when I say "WE KNOW".:D I myself got lucky and somehow found a rust-free specimen in southern Ohio. Before that I was preparing myself for a trip out west to bring back a Cali/Arizona/New Mexico/West Texas Blazer...

Nice! I'd be too scared to let a young girl drive my Blazer. But why isn't your fiberglass top off on such a nice day?

it was 100* plus too hot for me
Yeah you're probably better off with a roof. To say Ohio summers and West Texas summers aren't the same would be a huge understatement.
:haha:
