Sweet i thought it was a good spot to mount it because in a fire every second counts, and if its right next to you in easy reach well it will only take an extra second to grab.

yeah but i heard they should be right side up? every now and again i will shake it up. dont know if it helps at all but maybe i should look it up.

i got a ticket yesterday i was doing "about" 50 in a 45 so ima fight it because it sounds to me the cop was guessing my speed dumb focker. he asked about a jillon questions on why i was speeding and i told him i was doing 43mph and he came up with the have you changed your transmission for those larger tires excuse.

man did i get mad!!!

well ima see if he did have radar or not

Tell him its the TC not the tranny...:)

I've heard its legal to ask right then and there to see the radar gun...is that true or will it just get you in more trouble? Bubba?

i tried that mess avery and got him even more pissed. he was like "im not a judge, you can tell her" and he was moving forward which increased my speed cause i relly dont think i was speeding. but i digest.

It's very legal. It's so legal that it's illegal for him to refuse to show you. Just looking at the numbers isn't good enough though. I don't think a cop would have the audacity to make up a number. Look at the calibration sticker. I'm not 100%, but I'm fairly sure the guns get cal'd everyday before shift.

Thats what I thought... I figured you could ask them and if they couldn't show you the gun they'd probably drop it and give you a warning or you'd have a heck of a good case in court...

Yeah, any judge that hears either;

a) the officer refused to show you, or
b) the gun wasn't cal'd;

will toss the case. Of course, if the cop refuses to show it to you, I think it will be your word against his. If that were to happen, I would take down the badge number and locate his boss. I don't know of any cops like that, but if you come across one, do what you can to get rid of him. We don't need power trips running the streets.
