1973 blazer

dude that's gonna be a sweet trail rig. I would cut out the wheel-wells(to remove the rust), cut out the rockers and replace them with square tubing, throw on a set of 35's and go have some fun!

Powerbraking your truck is about the quickest way to kill the trans and rear end that I know of, it is fun those. So considered a word to the wise, use moderation.

cool thanks ill keep that im mind :waytogo:

on another note i am now the proud owner of a 1973 blazer!!!

i found the "ownersand drivers manual" in the center counsel along with a recipt of the tires it has now . only 3 years old and cost $400, there small though!!LOL

well the tire /jerrycan carrier is installed and i took out the factory carpet and well theres rust under there at the bottom corner of the cab next to the e-brake.

i got the lights to work and installed a horn.

today ima go get plates for it and then fix the turn signal(broken in the column) and hopefully get it inspected tuesday

fixed a lot of stuff this weekend, got the signals to work and the hazzards. took the top of and then it rained so i put the top on.

tightened up the tire carrier, and mounted the rear seat.

so all i need now is to get inspection and transfer the title under my name.
i need to weld up the door striker that was somehow ripped off from the cab to pass inspection:(

but i will do that wed.

Sheesh. 3 days and the guy's got a stock rollbar already. I've been trying to find one within reasonable driving distance for my Blazer for 6 months now...:doah:
