:P

Yeah, yeah. My K5's running about 110.5" now for that very reason (sans ZR's, as I have the stock gas tank) ... but I was talking photochop :D

'Sides, you can't beat a sixpack ... 164.5" WB :haha:

ummmm... wouldn't that just be a blazer?
no dude, Im talking about a 2 door suburban, same length and wheelbase. They offered 1st gen burbs as 2drs. Just thought it might be neat to see a 2nd gen 2dr burb

I thought the first gens were 3 doors?

Nice, those are the delivery models. I love those!

The no windows thing makes it a Panel, as others have pointed out a delivery truck.

Burbs (aka Carryall Suburban) were two door through 1966, IIRC, and then were three door from 67-72.

You must be psychic. I was imagining this just last week. Awesome idea. Someone *needs* to build this!!!

What's great is that you managed to rework the back doors exactly as I'd envisioned so that they flow into the wheel openings. The only change I'd make would be to have barn doors in the back instead of the tailgate

If I had this body/frame combo, I'd keep it 2WD and give it to the girlfriend in hopes that she'd give up her '06 Tahoe and join the ranks of C/K'ers :D

I actually went ahead and showed my girlfriend the pic of this thing. She was floored. Said she'd love to have this, and insists that I take up welding so that I can "make that for me".
